Doing the right thing seems like such a no-brainer. It just makes good sense. I bring this up because today I had to install three new toner cartridges on our printer.

It is so good to see that companies are going out of their way to make it as easy as possible to recycle. Oki goes so far as to include everything you need to send your old toner cartridges back to them on their dime. Thanks OKI!

Sure, they're gonna make money off the cartridges again, but that is SO much better than seeing them end up in some landfill. Plus, then they offer remanufactured toners and image drums which cost us less than the originally produced ones. So we pay less, which means we have less overhead that the business has to pay for, which means we can charge less for all those really great bunny products we carry, so you save money.

Ah, the circle of life is complete!

So today's public service announcement is simply a reminder to do all that you can to recycle. Support those companies that do. Whether it is toner or ink cartridges from your printer, scrap paper, old phones, computers, tvs, or WHATEVER...there is almost always some place that can either re-use it or that can recycle it. Places like Radio Shack, Whole Foods, Office Depot, and other stores have convenient drop off programs for a number of items. Check your local stores and find out what you can recycle in your area!

Be sure to let us know what you find so we can pass it along...
Because bunnies really don't like landfills!
